The Torit Foundation provides scholarships for
low income students to attend
Torit Montessori.

The Torit Foundation has given $400,000 in scholarship funds for deserving students since 2015.

Our fundraising goal for 2020 is $50,000.

The Foundation is dedicated to the crucial work that calls all of us in every American community - unite rather than dividing. One principal that unites us is the American promise of Equality of Opportunity, especially for children. For the past 50 years, a divide has been growing. Some call it a divide between rich and poor. The Torit Foundation views it as a divide between those comfortable enough to raise a child with a full breadth of opportunity and those who cannot afford to live in communities that provide decent education thus seeing the promise of equality of opportunity for kids slip out of reach. We all suffer as Americans if equal opportunity does not remain our way of life. We lose our connections to each other and we lose our sense of shared civic purpose. Your gift of education through your donation to or sponsorship of The Torit Foundation supports a single child's education at Torit Montessori, supports a classroom of children whose diversity is broadened and supports an American community that can continue to pledge that it is working toward the ideal of equality of opportunity for every child.
